There is stairs-only access between platforms via the bridge, which is towards the south end of the station. As there is stairs-only access to platform 2 from Great Western Road, we won't bother describing the alternative route via the ramp exit from platforms 1 and 3.
If you arrive via a through service, on platform 1 or 2, the doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. If you arrive on the service from Queen Street high level, which terminates here, the doors will open on your right.
There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.
From Platforms 1 and 3, Eastbound|
From Platform 2, Westbound
As you go from the front of the train, you pass the steps to the bridge, which go up towards the front of the train.
Continue beyond the front of the train. You pass a post, stanchion and another post in the middle of the platform before you reach the ramp exit on your left. This is followed by the ticket office building, beyond which is the stairs exit and the toilet. Continue to the foot of the steps, in front of you.
Go up a flight of steps, turn right then go up another flight onto the bridge. Continue, down a flight of steps, turn right then go down another flight to platform lefel. We believe you're behind the rear of shorter trains and near the rear of longer ones. We suggest you continue forward to the waiting room to be beside the train.
GO TO END
The steps to the bridge are twoards the rear of longer trains and behind the rear of shorter ones. You go up in the opposite direction to the train.
Go up a flight of steps, turn left then go up another flight onto the bridge. Continue, down a flight of steps, turn left then go down another flight of steps onto platform 1. We believe you're beside the front half of the train.
For platform 3, continue, past the toilet, ticket office, a post, stanchion and another post, to the beginning of platform 3, on your right. This is a terminus platform, you're behind the rear of the train.
HOW DO I…?
