There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

To Platforms 1 and 3, Eastbound

From Herschel Street, continue under the railway bridge. The first gap in the wall beyond the bridge leads to the stairs route, whilst the first turning is an access road leading to the ramp.

Via the Stairs

Turn left from Great Western Road, you go up one step then up a flight of steps. These steps are divided by a central rail, we suspect you're meant to keep left.

Continue, up the hill, past the steps up to your left, which are not for public use, then take the turning left onto platform 1. We believe you're about in the middle of longer, or near the rear of shorter trains.

If you need a ticket or assistance, continue past this turning, the ticket office is on your left with the door just before the end of the path. From here, you can go through the opposite door, onto platform 1. We believe you're about in the middle of longer, or near the rear of shorther trains.

For Platform 3, turn right and continue, beyond the ticket office building. You pass the ramp entrance, a post, stanchion and another post in the middle of the platform before platform 3 begins on your right. This is a terminus platform, so you're now behind the rear of the departing train.

GO TO END

Via the Ramp

Continue, away from herschel Street, under the railway bridge and take the first turning left. Follow the left-hand pavement and take the turning left towards the ramp. You turn left and continue to the top of the ramp. Turn right (180 degrees), continue to the top of the ramp then turn then left (180 degrees) before turning right along a short path onto platform 1. We believe you're beside the rear half of longer trains and may be behind the rear of shorter ones. For the ticket office, turn left and go through the second door on your left.

For Platform 3, turn right, you pass a post, stanchion and another post in the middle of the platform before platform 3 begins on your right. This is a terminus platform, so you're now behind the rear of the departing train.

GO TO END

To Platform 2, Westbound

As you move away from herschel Street, go through the gap in the wall, just before the railway bridge. You go up two flights of steps, turn right then go up another flight to platform level. You're near the end of the platform, we believe behind the rear of the trains. We suggest you turn left then continue, at least past the foot of the steps to the bridge, for longer trains and to the waiting room, for shorter ones.
