Overview

This bridge provides ramp or stairs access between the car park and platform 1, westbound. The foot of the ramp and steps is on the pavement on the south side of the car park. The ramp is about ten metres west, whilst the steps are about ten metres east of the east entrance to platform 2.

Via the Steps

From the pavement about ten metres east of the east entrance to platform 2, you go up eight steps, going east. Turn right (180 degrees, west), then go up three times eight steps onto the bridge and turn left (south).

The bridge runs north/south between solid walls with embedded lights. Turn left (east) at the south end, go down three times eight steps, going east. Turn left (180 degrees, west) then go down eight steps, going west, to platform level.

There's tactile paving at the top and bottom of these steps, which have a hand rail to each side.

Via the Ramp

From the pavement about ten metres west of the east entrance to platform 2, you go up the first slope, going west, turn left (180 degrees, east) then go up the second slope, going east, onto the bridge and turn right (south).

The bridge runs north/south between solid walls with embedded lights. Turn right (west) at the south end, go down the first slope, going west. Turn right (180 degrees, east) then go down the second slope, going east, to platform level. There's a hand rail to each side of these ramps.
