Overview

Note that the foot of the ramp and steps to the bridge are on the pavement, outside the fence beside platform 2, eastbound.

There is level access from platform 2, eastbound, to the car park. There is ramp or stairs access from platform 1 to the car park via the bridge.

The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

From Which Platform?

  From Platform 1, Westbound
From Platform 2, Eastbound

From Platform 1, Westbound

We believe the exits are about in the middle of the train, though the layout of the platform would suggest they're near the rear. There's a recess from which, as you face away from the tracks, the ramp goes up to your right, whilst the steps go up to your left.

As you go from the front of longer trains, you pass a series of posts near to the fence before you reach the shelter nearer the front of the train. Continue past another series of posts near the fence till you reach the second shelter. The front of shorter trains is between these two shelters. The recess is just beyond the second shelter.

As you go from the rear of longer trains, you pass a series of posts near to the fence before you reach the recess.

Via the Ramp

As you face away from the tracks, turn right, go up the first slope, turn left (180 degrees) then go up the second slope onto the bridge. Turn left, continue to the end then turn left. Go down the first slope, turn right (180 degrees) then go down the second slope onto the pavement. Continue forward then take the turning right onto the platform. We believe you're just beyond the front of shorter trains and beside the front half of longer ones.

GO TO END

Via the Steps

As you face away from the tracks, turn left, go up eight steps then turn right (180 degrees) and go up three times eight steps onto the bridge. Turn right, continue to the end then turn right. Go down three times eight steps, turn left (180 degrees) then go down eight steps onto the pavement. Continue forward then take the turning left onto the platform. We believe you're just beyond the front of shorter trains and beside the front half of longer ones.

GO TO END

From Platform 2, Eastbound

We believe the main exit is just beyond the front of shorter trains and near the front of longer ones.

As you go from the front of longer trains, you pass two posts cloes to the fence, before you reach the exit. The 3 car stop sign is the second post beyond the entrance.

As you go from the rear of longer trains, you pass the west exit, a shelter, a series of posts close to the fence then the second shelter. This shelter has two entrances. Beyond this shelter, are three posts, of which the 3 car stop is the middle one, before you reach the exit. Turn away from the tracks and continue onto the pavement.

As you face away from the tracks, at the main entrance to the station, the foot of the ramp is to your left, whilst the steps are to your right.
