DESCRIBE ONLINE |
This is a through station on the Main Highland Line between Perth and Inverness.
The tracks run approximately north/south between separate platforms with platform 1 lying west of the island platform 2 - 3.
Platform 1 is used bi-directionally, serving northbound trains towards Inverness and southbound trains towards Perth and beyond. We understand platform 2 is only used for southbound services.
Platform 3, along the east side of the island platform, is used by the Spey Valley Steam Railway.
The ticket office is about in the middle of platform 1. A bridge across the southern half of the station provides stairs access between platforms.
There is step-free access to each platform from the local street network. There is stairs access between platforms via the bridge.
We therefore believe the station is accessible to Guide Dog and wheelchair users.
