Lines Served

This is a through station on the lines between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh, Alloa and Dunblane.

Layout

The tracks run east/west serving separate platforms. Platform 1, eastbound towards Stirling, Alloa, Dunblane and Edinburgh, lies north of platform 2, westbound towards Glasgow Queen Street.

The ticket office is about in the middle of platform 2, with the bridge lying a few metres east of this.

There's step-free access to each platform from street level, though some customers may find the ramps a bit steep.

The entrance/exit to platform 2 and the stepped entrance/exit to platform 1 are about in the middle of the platform, whilst the ramp entrance/exit to platform 1 is at the east end.

Accessibility

There is ramp access from street level to each platform and stairs access via the bridge between platforms. We therefore believe this station is accessible to Guide Dog and wheelchair users, though some customers may find the ramps a bit steep.
