CHANGE PLATFORMS

DESCRIBE ONLINE

There is stairs and step-free access between platforms via the bridge.

The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

From Which Platform?

  From Platform 1, Westbound
From Platform 2, Eastbound

From Platform 1, Westbound

There's one exit from this platform, beside the front half of the train.

As you go from the front of longer trains, you pass the mesh fence, with posts along the edge of the platform, before you reach the turning right to the exit. There's a "Way Out" sign on a post in the middle of the platform, near this exit.

As you go from the rear of longer trains, you pass the mesh fence with a series of posts along the edge of the platform before you reach the shelter. The exit is just beyond this.

Turn away from the platform. From here, you can turn right for the steps, or left for the ramp to the bridge.

Via the Ramp

Take the turning left at the exit and continue up the first slope. Turn right (180 degrees) then go up the second slope onto the bridge and turn right. Continue to the end then turn right, go down the first slope, turn left (180 degrees) and continue to the bottom of the second slope. Turn left and continue onto platform 2, we believe you're near the front of shorter trains and about in the middle of longer ones.

GO TO END

Via the Steps

Turn right at the exit, go up six steps then turn left (180 degrees), go up three times eight steps, onto the bridge and turn left. Continue to the end, turn left then go down three times eight steps, turn right (180 degrees) and go down six steps to platform level. Follow the fence on your right then take the turning right and continue onto platform 2, we believe you're near the front of shorter trains and about in the middle of longer ones.

GO TO END

From Platform 2, Eastbound

There's a single exit from this platform, about in the middle of longer trains.

As you go from the front of the train, you pass the mesh fence with a series of posts along the edge of the platform before you reach the shelter. The front of three car trains is signed at the second post beyond the shelter. Beyond this, you pass a bench then two more posts before you reach the exit.

As you go from the rear of longer trains, you pass a series of posts along the edge of the platform before you go under the bridge. There are two posts in the middle of the platform before you reach the left turn to the exit.

Turn away from the platform. From here, you can turn right for the ramp, or turn left for the steps.

Via the Ramp

Take the first turning right from the exit, continue up the slope, at the top, turn right (180 degrees), continue to the top then turn left and go over the bridge. Turn left at the end, go down the first slope then turn left (180 degrees) and go down the second slope to platform level. Follow the fence on your right then turn right onto platform 1. We believe you're beside the front half of the train.

GO TO END

Via the Steps

Take the left turning from the exit and continue to the steps up, at the end of the path. Go up six steps, turn left (180 degrees) then go up three times eight steps to the bridge. Turn right, continue to the end then turn right again. Go down three times eight steps, then turn right (180 degrees) and go down six steps to platform level. Turn left onto platform 1, we believe you're beside the front half of the train.
