PLATFORM 1, EASTBOUND

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Overview

This is a separate platform along the north side of the station which serves trains towards Edinburgh.

There’s tactile paving along the edge of the platform.

Most of the platform is open with metal railings to your left (north). The main platform appears to be Tarmac, initially with a concrete strip running beside the railings, which gives way to gravel after a few metres.

The only entrance/exit from this platform is via the bridge, which is west of the middle of the platform.

There are RNIB REACT beacons near each end of the platform and between the steps and ramp to the bridge.
