Overview

This station is now gated. There's a bi-directional Wide Aisle Gate between the ticket office and each lift and there's a gate line across the beginning of the main passage.

There's a ticket sales window in front of you as you come in through the right-hand (south) entrance. This has a variable height counter and induction loop.

As you come in through either entrance, you can turn left towards the lift to platform 1 eastbound or right towards the lift to platform 2, westbound.

As you continue beyond the cross passage, the gate line is in front of you with a bi-directional Wide Aisle Gate at the leftt-hand end and the regbular automatic entrances to your right of this. The ticket sales window mentioned above is just beyond the right-hand end of the gate line.

The stairs down to each platform are off the far end of the main passage.

Note that there's a complex route involving 56 steps between the ticket hall and each platform, so you may find it easier to use the lifts. We'll give details of the stairs routes as well, in case you prefer to do this, or the lifts are out of action.

There's tactile paving along the edge of each platform.
