The station is located on the west side of Cathcart Road (north/south), beneath Albert Road (west). Cathcart Road continues north to the junction with Dixon Avenue (west) and Dixon Road (east) beyond which are the two nearest bus stops to this station.
There is a single entrance/exit from the north side of Cathcart Road, a few metres south of Albert Road. You go into an open space with a Crosshill sign post in the middle. A short passage, which can be closed by a metal gate, leads west towards the stairs to the platform. There are billboards and timetables on the walls around the open area and on each side of this passage. Continue (west) along the passage, you may notice the change from concrete to metal flooring. You cross the southbound track before turning right (north) and going down 13 then 14 steps, going north, onto the island platform. There’s a hand rail to each side of these stairs and tactile paving at the bottom, but none at the top.
