You can reach this platform from the bridge, before the front of the train, or via the ramp, which brings you about in the middle of the platform.
Via Stairs from the Bridge|
Via the Ramp
From the path, go down three flights of steps to platform level. The waiting room is in front of you. Move to your left of this onto the platform.
GO TO END
The path leads west from a few metres north of the steps from the bridge onto platform 1. There are two routes, the first involves a gentle ramp down to the platform, whilst the second is a more direct but steeper ramp plus two steps down to platform level.
Follow the path and take the first turning left. Follow the path to your right (west) then left (180 degrees, east), then right (nearly 180 degrees, southwest), then left (south) onto the platform. there are metal rails to each side of this ramp. The left-hand rail continues before turning right along the middle of the platform, move to your right to go round the end of this rail. We believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
GO TO END
Follow the path (west) to the T-junction. The right-hand path leads to housing, whilst the left is a quicker route to the platform. Take the left turn (south), down a steep slope with a low wall to each side, then two steps down to platform level. The foot of the other ramp is to your left. The left-hand rail from the ramp continues before turning right along the middle of the platform, move to your right to go round the end of this rail. We believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
You can reach this platform via level access from the ticket office, via steps or ramp from the car park or via stairs from the bridge.
Via the Ramp from the Car Park|
Via the Steps from the Car Park
Via Stairs from the Bridge
Go up to the top of the slope then turn right (180 degrees) then continue to the top of the slope before turning left onto the platform. We believe you're about in the middle of the train. Turn right for the waiting room and ticket office.
GO TO END
There are two sets of steps from the car park onto a raised, paved area outside the ticket office and waiting room. From the top of either set of steps, you can turn away from the car park and go through onto the platform, we believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
As you face away from the car park, the left-hand entrance is to the waiting room, whilst the right-hand is the ticket office. You can go straight through either of these onto the platform. The ticket sales window is immediately on your right as you go into the ticket office.
GO TO END
From the bridge, go down a flight of steps then continue forward to the tactile paving, which is a few metres beyond the foot of the steps. Move to your right here, onto the platform. We believe you're behind the rear of the train. As you continue along the platform, the ticket office is the third door in the building.
