Lines Served

This is a through station on the line between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh. Some services to Alloa, Stirling and Dunblane also serve this station.

Layout

The tracks run east/west serving separate platforms. Platform 1 eastbound towards Edinburgh, Stirling, Dunblane and Alloa lies north of platform 2 westbound towards Glasgow Queen Street.

A bridge at the east end of the station provides stairs access to each platform.

The ticket office and main car park are on the south (platform 2) side of the station. There is ramp and step access between the car park and the platform/ticket office and waiting room, which are about in the middle of the platform.

There is also ramp access between the bridge and platform 1, about in the middle of the platform.

Accessibility

There is stairs and ramp access to each platform and to the ticket office. We therefore believe this station is accessible to Guide dog and wheelchair users.
