The station is immediately north of the point where South Road (east/west) crosses the tracks. There's a car park along the west side of the station, between the tracks and Station Road (north/south), which joins South Road at the west end of the bridge.
There are four entrances/exits to this station:

There's level access, to the north of the station building, directly onto platform 2, northbound.
As you go east along South Road, you pass the gap to the steps to platform 2, railings and a stone post before you reach this entrance. turn left (north).
From here, you can continue forward to the steps to platform 1 southbound, move right (east) then forward for the ramp to platform 1, or turn left (west) for the steps to platform 2, northbound.
You cross tactile paving then go down 14 steps, going north. Turn left (west) then go down 15 steps, going west and cross tactile paving onto the platform. These steps, which have a hand rail to each side, are divided by a central rail.
Continue (north) down the first slope, turn right (east) then left (north) and continue down the second slope. The ramp now hairpins down the hillside. You turn left (180 degrees, south), right (180 degrees, north), left (180 degrees, south) then right (180 degrees, north). At the bottom of this slope, you turn left (west) and continue onto the platform. There's a hand rail to each side of this ramp.
Turn left (west), there are railings between this path and the pavement, continue down nine steps, going west, turn right (north) and go down 15 steps, going north onto the platform. There's a hand rail on the right-hand (east) side of these steps and no tactile paving at the top or bottom.
From the west end of the bridge, you can go down five steps, going north, turn right (east) then go down two steps, going east. Turn left (north) and go down the 15 steps, mentioned above, onto platform 2.
There’s a crossing a few metres south of the vehicle entrance. As you go south, you pass a post against the wall before you reach the crossing.
This is a wide, single-stage crossing which includes a central island. There's tactile paving throughout plus a sounder. The post, with push button and rotating cone is to your right, against the wall, as you cross in either direction.
