Location

The station is on the southwest side of Dalmarnock Road (northwest/southeast) just before (southeast of the junction with an as yet unnamed road leading northeast towards the Parkhead and Emirates Stadia plus Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

Some distance southeast of the station, is the junction with Springfield Road leading northeast towards the Athletes' Village, details of which lie beyond the scope of this survey.

Entrances and Exits

This station has a single entrance/exit leading southwest into the ticket hall. You can either go up a single step, going southwest and continue through the automatic doors or follow the right-hand (southwest) side of the pavement, up a short ramp before turning right to the doors. There is tactile paving at the top of the step.

Local Road Crossings

The Junction of Dalmarnock Road (Northwest/Southeast) and the Unnamed Road (Southwest/Northeast)

Each crossing at this junction is two-stage. There is tactile paving throughout each crossing and a rotating cone on each push button unit. The push button is to your right as you leave the pavement at each crossing in either direction and there's a post to each side as you leave each island.

Southwest Arm, Unnamed Road

Move away from the station and follow the railings (southwest) from the corner, to the tactile paving. On reaching the island, move left to the tactile paving for the second half of the crossing.

Northwest Arm Dalmarnock Road

On the central island, move right to the tactile paving for the second half of the crossing.

Northeast Arm, Unnamed Road

Continue northeast from the junction to reach the tactile paving. On the central island, move right to the tactile paving for the second half.

Southeast Arm, Dalmarnock Road

On the central island, move left for the tactile paving for the second half of the crossing.

Local Buses

Northeast Side of Dalmarnock Road

Leave the junction, going southeast, past a garage with separate entrance and exits. Continue for about 100 metres to the bus stop.

Southwest Side of Dalmarnock Road

The bus stop, with no shelter is a short distance southeast of the station entrance. You cross the entrance to what was a builder's yard at the time of our survey, pass a post in the middle of the pavement before reaching the bus stop post on your right.
