Find an exit from a Platform

Describe Online

Overview

There is level access from platform 2, eastbound onto the car park. There is ramp or stairs access to the car park from platform 1, westbound via the bridge. Note, there is no exit from the south (platform 1) side of this station.

The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

From Which Platform?

  From Platform 1, Westbound
From Platform 2, Eastbound

From Platform 1, Westbound

We believe the exits are towards the front of the train.

As you go from the front of the train, you pass a series of posts cloes to the fence before you reach the first shelter. there's a single post beyond this, before you reach the exit to the steps. Beyond this is the help point and another post before you reach the exit to the ramp.

As you go from the rear of longer trains, you pass the second shelter, then a series of posts close to the fence before you reach the exit to the ramp. Beyond this is another post, then the help point, before you reach the exit to the steps.

Via the Ramp

Turn away from the trakcs then turn left and go up the first slope. Turn left (180 degrees) then go up the second slope, onto the bridge and turn right. Continue to the end, turn right and go down the first slope. Turn left (180 degrees), go down the second slope then turn right into the car park.

GO TO END

Via the Steps

Turn away from the tracks, turn left then go up four times eight steps, onto the bridge and turn left. Continue to the end, turn left then go down four times eight steps and turn right into the car park.

GO TO END

From Platform 2, Eastbound

We believe the exit is towards the rear of the train.

As you go from the rear of longer trains, you pass a shelter before the help point and an electric stanchion, then the exit. Turn left and continue into the car park.

As you go from the front of longer trains, you pass a series of posts close to the fence before you reach the exit. Turn right and continue into the car park.
