This is a through station on the Southwestern Line between Glasgow Central and Carlisle.

Layout

There are two separate platforms, running approximately north/south with platform 1, northbound towards Glasgow Central lying west of platform 2, southbound towards Carlisle.

A footbridge, towards the north end of the station provides stairs access between platforms, however there are step-free entrances/exits to each platform within a short distance of a road bridge.

The ticket office, ladies, gents and accessible toilets are on platform 1, whilst the cafe and another set of ladies toilets are on platform 2.

Accessibility

There is step-free access to and around this station, plus stairs access between platforms via the footbridge. We therefore believe this station is accessible to Guide Dog and wheelchair users.
