CHANGE PLATFORMS

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Overview

There is step-free access between platforms via the subway, though some users may find the ramps a bit steep. The subway is near the east end of the station, that is towards the front of northbound or rear of southbound trains.

The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

From Which Platform?

  From Platform 1, Southbound
From Platform 2, Northbound

From Platform 1, Southbound

As you go from the front of the train, you may pass the small waiting room then the main waiting room before you reach the turning right towards the subway and high level car park. Turn right here, then take the turning almost immediately left and go down the ramp. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp, continue to the wall then turn left and go up the ramp, to platform level, then turn left onto platform 2. We believe you're near the front of the train.

GO TO END

From Platform 2, Northbound

As you go from the rear of the train, you pass the main building, before you reach the turning left towards the north forecourt and subway. Turn left here then take the turning almost immediately right.

As you go from the front of the train, you pass the railings around the subway well before you reach the turning for the subway. Turn right (180 degrees).

Go down the ramp. Turn right then take the turning right and go up the ramp to platform level then turn right onto platform 1. We believe you're near or behind the rear of the train.

Note that the subway continues into the south forecourt.
