Find an exit from a Platform

Describe Online

Overview

See the Environs page for details of the routes to and from the station.

There's an exit leading directly from each platform, the east exits to the car park, lead from the southbound platform 2, whilst the west exit via the path, leads from the northbound platform 1.

There is lift and stairs access between platforms via the bridge at the north end of the station

The doors will normally open on your left as you face the front of the train. We say "normally" as we understand some trains terminate here, at the time of our survey, it wasn't clear which platform is used by these services. There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

From the Southbound, Platform 2

there are several gaps through to the car park, see the description of platform 1 for details. The stop for the Airport bus is a few metres beyond the south end of the station, you'll probably need to move forward about three metres to avoid the parked vehicles before turning right.

GO TO END

From the Northbound, Platform 1

The bridge is near (or beyond) the front of the train.

Via the Lifts

Continue behind the steps to the bridge, turn left then find the lift door on your right, the call button is to your right of the door. Go up to bridge level, leave via the same door then turn left and find the lift to platform 2 on your left. The call button is to your right of the door, go down to platform level, leave via the same door then turn left and continue into the car park.

GO TO END

Via the Steps

Go up two flights of steps, turn rightt, continue to the end of the bridge then turn right again and go down two flights of steps onto platform 2. From here, you can go through any of the gaps into the car park.
