Lines Served

This is a through station on the line between Aberdeen and Inverness. The station serves Dyce (Aberdeen) Airport, for which there's a courtesy bus in the car park beside platform 2.

Layout

The station has two separate platforms, running approximately north/south with platform 1, northbound, lying west of platform 2, southbound. The platforms are joined by a bridge, offering stairs-only access, near the south end.

All features of interest, including the bridge, shelters, entrances/exits are towards the south end of the station.

Accessibility

There is step-free access to each platform, see the Environs page for details. We noted, however, several turnings on Farburn Terrace which did not have dropped kerbs at the time of our survey. Furthermore, the route round, between the two sides of the station involves a distance of about 1 KM.

There is stairs-only access between platforms via the bridge.

We therefore believe the station is accessible to Guide Dog users and is probably accessible to wheelchairs, given the above mentioned qualifications.
