Lifts

Describe Online

Overview

There are three lifts, one between the concourse and each group of platforms. These are arranged in a straight line (north/south) a short distance before (east of) the corresponding steps. We believe that, at platform level, they're within the east half of the platforms, putting them beside the front half of eastbound (rear half of westbound) trains.

The call buttons are to your left of the door at concourse level and to your right at platform level.

At concourse level, you go in facing west, whilst at platform level, you go in facing east. In other words, you always leave via the other set of doors.

Each lift gives clear, spoken announcements.

Inside the lift, is a single control panel on the north side, this is on your right as you go in at concourse level (left from the platforms). The control panels are laid out as follows:

There's a low level alarm button below the control panel.
