There are two kinds of help point on this station. The usual, rectangular help points on each platform and the new ones at the gates to platform 2, westbound
The help points on the platforms have a metal, rectangular housing with two buttons. The left-hand button is for assistance, whilst the right-hand one is for train information. We're advised that we're being monitored by CCTV whilst using this service.
There are two help points at the west end of the gate line to platform 2, one to your left as you come in, the other to your right as you leave the platform.
Each of these has a cylindrical housing with the following features, listed from the top:
The help point is to your left of the waiting area as you reach the platform from the main entrance.
The help point is on the wall of the lift building, to your left of the automatic doors as you face the exit from the platform.
There's a help point at the left-hand end of the gate line as you come into the station, or at the right-hand end as you leave.
