Platforms 7 and 11

Overview

These are separate platforms lying south of the taxi road. Platform 7 runs east, whilst platform 11 runs west. There's tactile paving along platform 11, but none on platform 7.

We presume that platform 7 is for eastbound, whilst platform 11 is for westbound services.

To Reach

From the Concourse

From the concourse, you can continue (south), across the taxi access road. Note there is little to distinguish the road surface from that of the concourse. We suggest you follow the main building on your left. As you reach the end, move right a couple of metres before crossing the road. There was no pedestrian control of this crossing, though we believe pedestrians may have priority, be careful!

From the Bridge

If you're already on the bridge, you may as well use the lift rather than go down into the concourse and cross the road.

Go to platform level then leave via the other doors. The lift building is about in the middle of the space between the road and track 11, which continues east to the end of the tactile paving, before becoming track 7. This is beside the turning circle for the vehicles.

Platform 11, from the East

There's a slight slope up at the end of the main building as you go west and a very slight change in floor texture as you reach platform 11. The lift, already described, is east of this point, about in the middle.
