GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
DESCRIBE ONLINE |
This is a through station on the line between Aberdeen and Inverness, which runs approximately east/west.
There are two separate platforms with platform 1, bi-directional, lying north of platform 2, westbound.
The main entrance and ticket office are about in the middle of platform 1, whilst the bridge is towards the east end of the platforms.
Platform 2 can be reach via the business park to the south of the station. Note that the route between here and the entrance involves a significant detour through the local road network.
There is step-free access to each platform and stairs access between platforms via the bridge. We therefore believe the station is accessible to Guide Dog and wheelchair users.
Customers are advised to check in advance, from which platform their train will depart as the step-free route between platforms involves a significant detour through the local road network. See the Environs page for details.
