Changes from 14 November 2007

(Our sincere Thanks go to Chris Cook for providing us with the following information about Eurostar services).

The second phase of the high speed rail link connecting the Channel Tunnel to London opens for Eurostar trains. On this day, Eurostar trains stop serving Waterloo International Station and begin using St Pancras International Station. Another major alteration to Eurostar services is that the number of trains calling at Ashford International Station is significantly reduced. The new Interchange station in Kent is located at Ebbsfleet very near to Northfleet Station, which is located on the Charing Cross - Rochester route of our National Rail map. As of December 2009, domestic services from many destinations in Kent will also call at Ashford International and Ebbsfleet stations and will provide a fast service in to St Pancras International. These domestic services will also call at Stratford International Station, which will be served by an extension of the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) from Stratford Station. Once all these changes have taken place and the new stations have opened, they will be duly reflected in our National Rail Map and Station Finder.

Eurostar Services

Eurostar services typically run either to Brussels (Midi) or Paris (Gare du Nord) stations. There are numerous connections from both these stations to a huge variety of European destinations via both high speed intercity trains and slower regional trains. You can often buy a through ticket from Eurostar to your final destination, so it's always worth asking them when making your booking and they will be happy to help you further in purchasing the best ticket for your journey.

For all further information regarding destinations, tickets and timetables please visit the Eurostar website.
