The station is on the south side of Minerva Street (east/west) just east of the point where the street turns north.
There are two entrances/exits into a street level foyer, running east/west.
This provides level access from Minerva Street. The lift and steps to the ticket office are on your right as you move away from this entrance.
This is beyond the north end of the walkway to the Exhibition Centre, providing level access from Minerva Street. The steps and lift are on your left as you move away from this entrance.
See the Local Features section for a description of the walkway to the Exhibition Centre.
We found no pedestrian crossings during our survey.
We found no bus stops during our survey, though we understand at Argyle Street is a few minutes walk to the north of the station. Details of this lie beyond the scope of this survey.
Leave the station via the east entrance, take the turning right (south) and continue into the covered walkway. There are metal gates at the beginning of this walkway.
There’s a hand rail to each side, though we noticed a cycle track along the left-hand side, so keep right as you go towards the Exhibition Centre.
Go up a slight slope, going south then turn right (west).
The walkway continues west, level then up a slope. The slope levels out before you turn left (south). Continue south, over the Express Way, then down the slope. Veer left then right again (south), down the slope through gates at the end onto a path with a fence to each side and a rail along the middle. You go left then right, between barriers then take the turning right (west) into the Exhibition Centre, details of which lie beyond the scope of this survey.
