The simplest way to change platforms within this station is the stairs-only route via the bridge, which is about in the middle of the platforms. If you need a step-free route, you will have to use the subway beyond the front of the train on platform 2, or beyond the car park adjacent to platform 1. See the Environs page for details of this subway.
These directions are confined to the route via the bridge.
The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is tactile paving along the edge of the platforms.
Note that the foot of the steps is in the middle of each platform, you can walk along the platform to either side of these steps and can also walk underneath them from the east.

From Platform 2, Westbound
From the rear of the train, turn right and follow the left-hand side to the steps to the bridge. You go up a flight of steps, turn right then go up another flight onto the bridge. Continue, over the bridge then down a flight of steps in front of you before turning right and going down a flight of steps to platform level. We believe you're beside the rear half of most trains.
GO TO END
The steps to the bridge are about in the middle of the platform, which we believe is towards the rear of most trains. If you leave from the front of the train, go towards the rear, following the right-hand side past the waiting room. The foot of the steps is just beyond the waiting room building.
You go up a flight of steps, turn left then go up another flight of steps onto the bridge. Continue, over the slightly hump-backed bridge, then down a flight of steps. Turn left and go down another flight of steps to platform level. You're about in the middle of platform 1, which we believe is beside the rear half of most trains.
