This is a through station on the line between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh.

Layout

The tracks run east/west serving separate platforms with platform 1, eastbound towards Edinburgh lying north of platform 2, westbound towards Glasgow Queen Street.

A bridge joins the platforms about in the middle, whilst a subway offers ramp access to platform 2 from the car park.

The main entrance is via the ticket office which provides level access onto platform 1 near the west end of the platform.

Accessibility

There is ramp and stairs access throughout this station. We therefore believe the station is accessible to Guide Dog and wheelchair users. Note, however, that the ramp route to platform 2 is from the end of the car park which takes you some distance from the station building. We suggest you arrange assistance if you're not familiar with this route.
