Platform 1, EASTBOUND

Describe Online

This is a separate platform along the north side of the station which includes the ticket office near the west end and an additional entrance from Slamannan Road at the east. The bridge is about in the middle of the platform.

There's tactile paving along the edge of the platform and a row of posts along the middle.

To Reach

From the Forecourt/Ticket Office

There's level access directly from the forecourt to either side of the ticket office. You go into the ticket office via the ramp, facing west and leave onto the platform facing east. Note that the help point is on the other (west) side of the ticket office building.

From Slamannan Road

From the west side of Slamannan Road, just north of the bridge over the tracks, you go down nine steps, going west, into the cul de sac at the end of High Station Road.

Follow the left-hand side, take the turning left and go down 14 steps, going south, to platform level. There's tactile paving beyond the foot of these steps and gates, at platform level, can close this entrance. There's a metal rail along the middle of the platform, beyond these gates.
