FROM TOWER GATEWAY Station
The quickest and easiest route is to the Tower entrance, though we'll include the route to the main entrance as there is step-free access from here to the platforms.
We'll therefore begin by describing the route from Tower Gateway to Tower Hill Station.
You can either cross Minories via the pedestrian crossing outside Tower Gateway Station or at the junction with Tower Hill.
Note that the subway under Minories has been removed, so we suggest you use the single-stage crossing a few metres left of the station exit.
You then follow the path past the exit concourse of Tower Hill Station.
Leave the station, turn left and locate the crossing on your right, after a few metres. This is a single-stage crossing, there's a post with push button and rotating cone to each side of you. Cross the road then follow the path, which bears right. Keep right, after a while, you'll find the steps up to the exit concourse in front of you. Go up these four steps then follow the building round to your right and continue to Fenchurch Street Station.
Leave the station, turn left and continue to the junction. Locate the crossing to your right. This is a two-stage crossing via a triangular island in the junction. The post with push button and rotating cone is to your right. Cross to the island, bear right then locate the post with push button and rotating cone on your left then cross to the pavement.
Follow the path, which veers left. Keep right, after a while, you'll find the steps up to the exit concourse in front of you. Go up these four steps and follow the building round to your right.
Continue beyond the station building, you're in Trinity Square, with Trinity House on your right.
Continue into Coopers Row and continue, across a minor entry then Pepys Street. Follow the right-hand side, you'll find the tower entrance to this station in front of you, just before you go under the station building.
GO TO END
Cross Coopers Row and continue, under the station then take the turning left into Crutched Friars. Follow the right-hand side, across a car park entrance and minor entry, this street now becomes Hart Street. Take the turning right, up a step, into New London Street.
Continue, up a flight of steps, onto the pavement of Fenchurch Place/London Street, then turn right and follow the pavement round to your left. You pass two shops on your right before you reach the station entrance.
