GLASGOW CENTRAL STATION

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Special Notice

In preparation for the Glasgow Airport Rail Link (GARL), some platforms within the station have been renumbered. The former platform 11A is now platform 12, the former platforms 12 and 13 are now 14 and 15. The low level platforms are now numbered 16 and 17. We've amended our guide to reflect these changes.

During the GARL project, the roadway leading down to Oswald Street will be removed so that track 12 can be extended and a new track 13 can be brought into the station. This will mean that platform 15 will remain a separate platform along the west side of the station, whilst platforms 11 - 12 and 13 - 14 will be island platforms.

We'll maintain this guide as these changes are introduced.
