There are three gate lines within this station. The main gate line in the concourse, at the entrance to the lower level inside the Dundas Street entrance and that at the east entrance to the lower level, off North hanover Street.
The gate line is divided into two sections by a central barrier. The outer gates are exits, whilst the inner (nearer the barrier) are generally entrances. We noticed, however, that the automatic gate nearest the barrier in the left-hand section as you enter the station, was an exit at the time of our survey.
Note, there's a manual gate immediately to each side of the central barrier.
The left-hand gates are normally the ones you need. Note there's a manual gate at the right-hand end of this gate line as you enter the station.
The right-hand gates are normally the ones you need.
Note, there's a bi-directional Wide Aisle Gate at the left-hand end of the gate line as you enter the station.
Note, also, that there are no staffed ticket sales facilities at this entrance, though there is a help point beyond the left-hand end of the gate line as you come in. You push the small button, above the oval grill, for assistance.
