Overview

There are two public lifts in this station. One between platform 7 and 8, the other between platform 7 and 9.

There are clear spoken announcements and there’s tactile flooring at the entrance to each lift at each level.

Inside each lift, there's a control panel to either side, though the layout of these differs slightly, see below. You leave via the same doors at each level.

The Lift to Platform 8, Westbound

At the Upper, Concourse Level

The lift is in the first recess off platform 7, as you move away from the concourse. The call button, down only, is to your right of the door, you enter facing south.

At the Lower Level

The lift is in a recess, about in the middle of the platform. The call button, up only is to your left of the door, you enter facing south.

Inside the Lift

There’s a control panel to each side, with four buttons arranged in a square.

On the Right-Hand (West) Side

• Top Left – Alarm
• Bottom Left – Open Doors
• Top Right – Up
• Bottom Right – Down

On the Left-Hand (East) Side

• Top Left – Up
• Bottom Left – Down
• Top Right – Alarm
• Bottom Right – Open Doors

The Lift to Platform 9, Eastbound

At the Upper, Concourse Level

The lift is in the second recess off platform 7, as you move away from the concourse. The call button, down only, is to your right of the door, you enter facing north.

At the Lower Level

The lift is located in a recess, about in the middle of the platform. The call button, up only is to your left of the door, you enter facing north.

There’s a control panel to each side with four buttons in a square.

On the Right-Hand, (East) Side

• Top Left – Up
• Bottom Left – Down
• Top Right – Alarm
• Bottom Right – Open Doors

ON the Left-Hand (West) Side

• Top Left – Alarm
