This is a through station on the Borders Line between Edinburgh and Tweedbank.
The tracks run approximately east/west serving a single, bi-directional platform lying south of the tracks. Trains travelling east are southbound towards Tweedbank, whilst those travelling west are northbound towards Edinburgh.
The help point and shelter are about in the middle of the platform, where we understand the two-car trains will stop. The step-free entrance from the car park is near the west end, whilst the stepped entrance from Station Road is at the east end of the platform.
There is step-free and stairs access through this station. We therefore believe the station is accessible to Guide Dog and wheelchair users.
