PLATFORM 1, WESTBOUND

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Overview

This is a separate platform along the south side of the station serving westbound trains towards Glasgow. There is no tactile paving along the edge of the platform, however, there is a distinct drainage channel along the middle of the platform. Unless stated otherwise, all features lie between this channel and the fence, being much nearer the channel, that is towards the middle of the platform.

To Reach

This platform can be reached via steps from the bridge or via the ramp from Kemp Street.

From Kemp Street

You leave Kemp Street going north on a path which curves to your right so that, when you reach platform level, you’re facing east at the effective west end of the platform. There’s a hand rail along the left-hand side of this path as you go towards the platform.
