The station is part of the building of Heathrow Terminal 4.
There are two entrances/exits to this station:
Details of the terminal itself lie beyond the scope of this survey. We understand the simplest way to access the station independently is via the Lifts to Trains.
You leave the Arrivals area through automatic doors, going southwest. The passage turns left (southeast) then right again (southwest) before you reach the luggage barriers. Beyond the barriers, you can turn left (southeast) for the lifts, or continue forward for the escalators.
There are four lifts, each with call buttons (Up and Down) to your right of the door. Go down to Level -1, leave via the same door and continue along the passage. Turn right at the end and continue towards the platforms.
The left-hand escalator is normally the one you need. Go down the first escalator, take the turning right then go down the second escalator and continue along the passage towards the platforms.
Details of buses within the airport lie beyond the scope of this survey.
