There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.

From Which Entrance?

  From the Main Entrance
From the Car Park, Via the Bridge
From the Approach Road
From the Car Park onto Platform 2

From the Main Entrance

From Boreland Road, take the turning into the approach road, note that there's only pavement on the right-hand side. Continue, down the slope, you pass the path to platform 2, then the bus shelter and taxi rank before you go into the station itself.

From here, you can turn right onto platform 2, continue into the ticket office or turn left for the bridge.

For Platform 2

Turn right and continue onto platform 2, we believe you're beside the rear half of the train.

Via the Ticket Office

Continue forward, through the door into the ticket office. The sales windows are at the far end and the door to platform 2 is at the far end of the right-hand side. Note that, if you go through this door, you can either continue down a single step or turn right and go down the ramp, onto the platform. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.

Via the Bridge

Continue to the building in front of you, turn left, you can either continue up the ramp or take the turning right for the stairs.

Via the Ramp

Continue up the ramp in front of you which turns left then right (180 degrees), onto the bridge.

Turn right at the top of the ramp, continue to the wall at the end then turn left. Go down the ramp (which turns right (180 degrees), then turn right onto platform 1. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.

GO TO END

Via the Stairs

Turn right, continue, past the building on your right, to the foot of the stairs. You go up two flights of steps, onto the bridge then turn right. Continue to the end then turn right and go down four flights of seven steps, then turn right onto the platform. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.

GO TO END

From the Car Park, Via the Bridge

Go onto the pavement along the near (south) side of the car park, turn left then take the turning right at the end. From here, you can continue down the ramp to the ticket office and platform 2, or turn left onto the bridge.

To the Ticket Office and Platform 2

Continue, down the ramp, turn left (180 degrees) at the bottom of the slope then go to the bottom of this slope and take the turning right. Continue down the short slope to platform level and continue forward onto the platform, we believe you're beside the rear half of the train. Alternatively, ignore the turning to your left, before the building then turn left and go through the door into the ticket office. The sales windows are in front of you and the door to platform 2 is at the far right end. note that you can leave via this door and continue down a single step onto the platform, or turn right for the ramp. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.

GO TO END

Via the Bridge

Take the turning left, continue to the wall at the end then turn left. Go down the ramp (which turns right (180 degrees), go to the bottom of this slope then turn right onto platform 1. We believe you're beside the rear half of the train.

GO TO END

From the Approach Road

You go down a short slope onto platform 2. We believe you're beside the rear half of longer trains, but may be behind the rear of shorter ones.

GO TO END

From the Car Park onto Platform 2

Having turned away from the car park, you can turn right for the ramp or left for the stairs onto the platform.

Via the Ramp

Turn right, continue to the bottom of the slope, then turn left and continue down a short slope, onto the platform. The station building is to your right, we believe you're about in the middle of the train.

Via the Stairs

Turn left, go down a flight of steps then turn right and go down three steps onto the platform. We believe you're beside the front half of the train.
