Lines Served

This is a through station on the East Coast line, between Edinburgh Waverley and Aberdeen. It is also a through station on the Fife Circle, being located just south of where the line divides to Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy.

There are two separate platforms running aproximately north/south with platform 2, northbound, lying west of platform 1, southbound. A bridge, about in the middle of the platforms provides stairs and ramp access between them, plus step-free access to the car park which lies to the west of the station.

The main entrance, from the taxi rank and bus stop, lies just south of the ticket office, on platform 2. this entrance also brings you beside the foot of the ramp to the bridge, which is a few metres to your left (west). Note that there are no entrances/exits directly to/from platform 1.

There is stairs and ramp access throughout this station. We therefore believe the station is accessible to Guide Dog and wheelchair users.
