This is a terminus station on all lines. Platforms 1 - 4 serve trains from Aberdeen or Perth, whilst platforms 5 - 7 serve trains from Kyle of Lochalsh or Thurso and Wick.
There is tactile paving along the edge of platforms 1 - 4 but none on platforms 5 - 7. Note also that platforms 1 - 4 are virtually straight platforms leading into the concourse, whilst platforms 5 - 7 curve to your right as you approach the front of the train.
As you face the front of the train, the doors will open on your right on platforms 1, 3 and 5, whilst on platforms 2, 4, 6 and 7 they open on your left.
From platform 1, move right onto platform 2 then continue forward into the concourse, you'll need to turn right then left towards the main entrance.
Platforms 3 - 6 lead straight into the concourse, though we suggest that for the main exit, you follow either side of the concourse to avoid seats and other obstacles along the middle.
Platform 7 is separate from the main station, you can leave this directly into the car park, or follow the path into the concourse.

As you leave platform 2, you can turn left through the south entrance, into Falcon Square. Note that you can also go through one of the gates in the fence beside platform 2 into the car park outside the shopping centre.
Otherwise you can turn right into the concourse. From here, you can turn left and follow the left-hand side of the concourse to the main entrance, or continue across the concourse and turn right. Follow the wall to the end and continue into the car park.
Having left either island platform, you can turn left and continue through the south exit into Falcon Square. Alternatively, you can move to either side of the concourse and follow this to the main exit. You can also turn right, continue to the wall then turn right and follow the wall to the end and continue into the car park.
You can continue beyond the front of the train into the car park, or keep left and follow the path into the concourse, going in through the north entrance. Continue beyond the end of the rail on your left. From here, you can continue forward, through the main exit or turn left and continue, through the south exit into Falcon Square.
