Overview

The easiest routes between platforms in this station are between platforms 2, serving trains towards Ardrossan and Largs and platform 3, serving faster trains towards Glasgow Central. There is step-free access between these platforms via the forecourt, through the ticket office, or via the gap beyond the ticket office.

There is step-free access from platform 1, serving slower trains towards Glasgow Central to the northwest car park and Ashgrove Road. There is also step-free access from platform 4, serving trains towards Troon, Ayr and Stranraer onto McGavin Way. Note that the ramp from platform 4 may be steep for some users.

There is stairs-only access via the bridges between platforms 1 and 2 and between platforms 3 and 4. We think users may find it easier to change between platforms 1 and 4 via Townhead. See the Environs page for details.

There is no tactile paving along the edge of any platforms in this station.

The doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train.
