PLATFORM 9 |
DESCRIBE ONLINE |
This platform starts as a single platform with a wall with posters and timetables on the right-hand (east) side. Eventually, it becomes an island platform with platform 8 of the mainline station, though no public access is permitted between these two sections of the platform.
The platform is divided into an A and B section, with the B section being nearer the concourse. During our survey, we only saw four car trains, within the B section.
There is no tactile paving along the edge.
