See the Environs page for details.
We believe people are intended to access the station via the main entrance, through the ticket office, or the ramp to platform 1. The Network Rail car park is outside a training centre and we don't think this is intended for regular use by the public.
There is no tactile paving along the edge of the platforms.

Go through the pull doors into the ticket office. The sales window is on the left-hand side and the walkway to the stairs leads to your right.
Turn immediately right inside the door, continue to the wall then turn left. Follow the rail on your left to the end then turn left (180 degrees) and go down a flight of steps. Turn left again (180 degrees) then go down another flight of steps into the waiting room. You can turn left from the foot of the steps and go through the door, down one step onto the platform. We believe you're beside the front half of shorter, or about in the middle of longer trains.
Continue past the station building then take the turning left, continue to the wall then turn right and go down the slope. At the bottom, turn left (180 degrees), then continue down the slope. At the bottom, the waiting room is in front of you, this is the step-free entrance. Alternatively, turn right onto the platform. We believe you're near the rear of shorter, or about in the middle of longer trains.
Go through the pull doors into the ticket office. The sales window is on the left-hand side. Continue forward, through the normally open doorway then turn left. Follow the right-hand side round to your right, onto the bridge.
Continue, following the right-hand side, then take the turning right and go down the ramp to platform level. The waiting room is in front of you. Turn right onto the platform. We believe you're near the rear of shorter, or about in the middle of longer trains.
