REACH THE STATION FROM THE FERRY
As you leave the ferry terminal, turn right and continue, across a gap in the pavement which is blocked to traffic on the right (south) side, onto an island. Beyond this, traffic flows one way, from your right (south). there is no dropped kerb or pedestrian control at this crossing.
Continue along the south side of Main Street, going east. You cross an access road to The Moorings, then cross Bath Street, leading south. This is a two-way street with no pedestrian controlled crossing.
You pass a bus stop with no shelter before crossing the vehicle exit onto the west island. We suggest you continue, past the phone box, two benches and the crossing of Main Street, then cross the car entrance onto the east island before turning right, across the service road, towards the station building. See the Environs page for more details.
