THE ISLAND PLATFORM

Overview

This is an island platform running approximately north/south with platform 1, serving southbound trains towards Edinburgh lying east of platform 2 serving northbound trains towards Dundee and Aberdeen.

There’s tactile paving along the edge of each platform. The section south of the station building includes a central gravel area which contains the lamp and CCTV posts plus a variety of planters.

The bridge and station building are towards the north end of the platform. Note that platform 2 extends south beyond the end of platform 1.

This platform is reached via steps or ramp from the bridge.

From the South
