The Concourse

Describe Online

Overview

This is an irregular shaped space with three passages, which we'll call the northeast, middle and southwest passages, leading from entrances/exits from the northwest side of the station. The platforms lead from the southeast side of the concourse, with platforms 1 - 4 being set further southeast than platforms 5 - 6.

The entrance from Villiers Street is in the east corner. Retail outlets surround the available walls and there's an additional unit in the concourse, opposite platform 1 - 4.

There's no apparent pattern to the direction of the automatic gates in the gate lines. The northeast gate line is for platforms 1 - 4, whilst the southwest gate line is for platforms 5 - 6.
