For National Rail

In the Platform Level Concourse

The main booking office is just inside the main entrance, at about 11 o'clock as you enter the concourse. there are two entrances, both with several information boards and Tensa barrier queuing systems. The left-hand (nearest the platforms) queue is for same day bookings, whilst the other is for advance bookings.

There are several FastTicket and other ticket machines in this area, though at the time of our survey, they didn't appear to be usable by blind/vision impaired people.

At the Metro Link Level 1

There are two Fastticket machines to your left as you reach the up escalator to the platform level concourse. At the time of our survey, these didn't appear to be usable by blind/vision impaired people.

For the Metro Link Service

There are two ticket machines on the departures platform, between the lift and step/escalator entrances. There's also one on the arrivals platform, between the steps and escalator access points.

At the time of our survey, these didn't appear to be usable by blind/vision impaired people. We're informed that it is not possible to buy tickets on board and that a fine is levied on those who travel without a valid ticket.
