From the Platform Level Contourse

Via Steps or Escalator

The top of the steps and escalators to level 1 is towards the south end of the concourse, between the gate to platform 10 and Accessorise. As you face these, the down escalator is to your left and the steps in the middle.

Turn right at the bottom and go through a set of doors into the level 1 concourse. To your left are the escalators and steps to the level 0 concourse, with the down escalator first, the up escalator, then the steps. The taxi rank is outside the left-hand of two exit doors from level 0, almost opposite the foot of the downward escalator, about 1 o'clock.

Via Lift

The lifts to the level 0 concourse are in the southwest corner of the concourse, opposite the gate to platform 12. At level 0, turn right and go through the doors in front of you. The taxi rank is to your left.

From Platforms 13 and 14

From Which Platform?

From Platform 13

You can leave via stairs, escalator or lift from this platform. Whichever you choose, you reach the bridge facing west, towards the moving walkways to platforms 10 and 11.

From the Escalator or Steps

You continue from the top, through a short corridor into the waiting area, continue, avoiding benches and other furniture, onto the left-hand of the two walkways in front of you. From the end, continue forwards onto the next walkway and thence to the gate.

Via the Lift

Leave the lift and turn right, continue onto the bridge. There are two lifts to your right, one opposite the steps down to platform 10, the other opposite those to platforms 8 and 9.

Having reached platform level, go towards the gates into the platform level concourse.

From Platform 14

There is only step and lift access directly from this platform. If you need an escalator, you'll need to continue beyond the rear of the train and locate the steps and escalator to your left(ascending in the direction of the train).

Via the Steps

Go up two flights of steps, turn left at the top and move, beyond the forecourt of Costa Coffee before turning left again towards the moving walkways. Take the left-hand walkway, continue from the bottom onto the second walkway, then continue towards the gates into the platform level concourse.

Via the Lift

As you reach the steps from platform 14, move left and follow the wall round to locate the lift, on platform 13 just beside the steps. From the upper level, continue forward, bearing slightly right onto the main bridge. There are two lifts to your right, one opposite the steps down to platform 10, the other opposite those to platforms 8 and 9.

Having reached platform level, go towards the gates into the platform level concourse.
