Location

The station is on the west side of the approach road leading north from the roundabout in Basin View (east/west). The approach road ends in a turning circle outside the station entrance, with an entrance to a large Co-Op store car park leading north. The car park lies north and east of this approach road.

Entrances and Exits

There are two entrances/exits, one to each side of the ticket office. We'll call these the north and south exits. Each gives step-free access to the ticket office and platform 1, southbound.

Local Road Crossings

We found no pedestrian controlled crossings during our survey, however, there's tactile paving outside the ticket office building indicating a crossing of the approach road towards the bus stop.

Bus Stop, Montrose Basin, on the east side of the approach road serves:

Local Features

The pavement on the east side of the approach road has railings to each side, with a gap for the Montrose Basin bus stop. The exit from the Co-Op car park is between this bus stop and the roundabout.
