The Route from the Station Street Entrance to the Forecourt

Go into the entrance, facing north then turn left, west. There's a rail on each side of the stairs. Go up 9 steps to the west, turn right, (east), up 11 going east. Turn right (west), go up 11 steps, then right again, (east) and go up 11steps towards the station forecourt.

Note that the stairs continue beyond this point, there are four more flights leading to the Palisades shopping mall.

As you go east, towards the forecourt, beware the under side of the escalator which will appear on your right. We suggest you follow the low wall on your left which turns sharply left, northwards. Follow this to the next corner, there's a man hole just round this corner. Continue north to the kerb and follow the kerb to your right east, till you find a drop kerb indicating a marked crossing. We understand this is not a formal crossing point but can be used. You cross the taxi entrance, with cars coming from your left. Note the crossing may be obstructed by queuing vehicles.
