This is an island platform with tactile paving along each edge.
Unlike the other island platforms, platform 5B ends at the west bridge and a new platform 4C continues from here. The island narrows just beyond the west bridge.
The A section can be reached by stairs from the main bridge. You go down 18 then 18 steps, going east. There's a central double rail which is interrupted between the flights.

The B section, from which we presume to be the exit, gives access to the main bridge via escalator (to your right, south) and stairs. You go up 18, then 18 steps going east onto the bridge.

The open area with posts extends from the slope off the end of the platform, to the covered area.

This waiting room has a door leading from the platform in each corner The push button on each door, both to enter and exit, are on the door post nearest the end of the waiting room. For example, the button for the door in the southeast corner of the room is on the east door post. There is a vending machine in this waiting room.

Platform 5B ends immediately beyond the bridge. Note that, whilst there's an obstruction across part of this, it doesn't reach the platform edge, so it is possible to go off the end into a vacant track bed.
As you continue along platform 4, you pass a large obstruction, just west of the steps to the bridge before you reach platform 4C. Track 4C commences beyond the buffers, which are a few metres west of the obstruction. Platform 4C is an open platform which continues to a slope off the end.
