FIND A PLATFORM FROM AN ENTRANCE
This station has a single, bi-directional platform with tactile paving along the edge. Note that there's also tactile paving across the entrance to the platform, so due care needs to be taken not to confuse these.
The entrance to the platform is near the north end, we believe that is before the front of northbound or behind the rear of southbound trains.
As you face the tracks, trains coming from your right are southbound towards Tweedbank, whilst those from your left are northbound, towards Edinburgh.
From the Car Park|
Via the Ramp
Via the Steps
The entrance to the station is from the far right-hand corner of the car park as you come in via the access road. Move into the area beside the platform and bear left, across tactile paving, onto the platform. If you find steps up in front of you, or bike shelters, you've overshot the entrance. Move onto the platform and turn left, we suggest you continue to the shelter to be about in the middle of the train.
GO TO END
See the Environs page for details of the ramp.
At the foot of the ramp, bear left and continue forward onto the platform. We suggest you turn left along the platform and continue to the shelter to be in the middle of the train.
GO TO END
From Maurderdeen Road, go down two flights of steps to platform level. Note that, at the time of our survey, there was no tactile paving at the top or bottom of these steps.
Continue forward, past two bike shelters and the ticket validator on your right then turn right onto the platform. We suggest you then turn left and continue to the shelter to be in the middle of the train.
